I weep these poetic lines
on pages wet with tears
called the book of fears

These pages folded forming
that which we can’t control
that which we can’t foresee

We dream in tears
called the book of fears

Poetic lines which run
in ink the words flow
into a poets dreams
into his loved stained heart

These pages folded forming
life without meaning

These tears of regretting
that which wasn’t done
that which wasn’t said

These tear stained pages
The dreams are blurred
and the muse is mumbling

Mumbling low
like the sound of thunder
in the distance

The flashes of the night
The breeze carries it away
leaving only wet pages

These tears falling
folded forever these pages
A poet weeps the words

A book of fears
