My muse speaks, the pages turn She whispers ink stained scorn Suddenly she screams I listen with my pen working furiously I’ve missed you I’ve looked high & low She whispers like a liar She screams words that burn My muse sings, the pages turn I find the ink runs She whispers so sweetly I say I love you My muse smiles slyly as my pen quivers Please don’t ever leave She laughs as I try to read the streaks of love My heart beats hard & fast She screams now like a lover in delight so completely My muse cries out in passion She says her heart is broken It beats bleeding words Suddenly she’s gone © 2003 CJ Clark All Rights Reserved

My muse cries out in passion <-----so true that feeling.
