Midnight Drive

We went for a midnight drive just to find our dreams We held on just as long as time would allow and then when desire flew so quickly love went away We held onto each other just for the sake of a dream We took so many journeys to find each others hearts We held on just as long as love could hold the spring We laughed into the summer in golden light we embraced to share our souls until autumn fell & winter slept We took all the passageways to each and every dream We held on for as long as sleep would last Upon our awakening Passion just flew away We only found our dreams leaving our souls crying there We await another spring just to meet up again We went for a midnight drive hoping love was sleeping there � CJ Clark All Rights Reserved
