The Pool

The pool is clear

and cool

The water drips,

drips off the leaves

A ripple runs,

runs across the water,

making the birds sing

and a fish jumps...

The water trickles,

trickles like a breeze

and the dew slips,

slips into the pool

and the fish swim,

swim into their lies'

deep into...

deep into the shadows

The sunrays bounce,

bounce the shadows

stealthily creep,

creep into the depths

The forest is damp,

damp as dew...

dew washes treetops,

washes away sadness

The pool is clear

and cool

We look into reflections,

see our future...

and the drip, drip,

dripping of dew,

is the only sound...

our enchanted souls hear

The breeze tracks us,

clears the fog...

clears our minds...

The pool reveals all
