This is a poem that I wrote for my daughter's cat, Lili and the love that she has brought to my daughter.
The picture of Lili was painted by my daughter Victoria. Lili has a blue and gold eye and spots on her nose. She is a wonderful companion and inspiration to her.

Lili, Lili, Lili, my dear.
I feel a breath of spring
when you are near.
When I hold you close,
you smell like the flower that you are.
My love for you will keep you from going far.
When I touch your hair
and give you a loving squeeze,
you feel as soft as a gentle breeze.
You are so sweet and kind to me,
I know that God must have sent you to me.
I will always love and trust in you
and your love for me will surely be true .
You are my love, my companion, and friend, and I know what we feel for each other will never end.
You have made such a difference in my life.
I am no more alone and living in strife.
Thank you for choosing to be with me,
because you make me as happy as I can be.
