We've all been there.

"The Nose"

It used to be a cute little thing that went well with the rest of my features.

Now it is growing more round, bulbous on my face, totally out of proportion and reason.

With every tear it grows, becoming shiny, glowing red, standing as tall as a water tower on my face!

The swelled eyes can hardly recognize it anymore. It seems foreign, like a stranger has moved on board.

It hinders the eyes' view and becomes annoying to all of the other features as well.

The trembling chin and quivering lips become fearful when the waters roll.

They both watch it grow.

The wet cheeks, frightened by the undesirable encroachment, wonder if they will be forced to relocate closer to the vicinity of the ears.

Bullied by this ever-growing menace, they all want to know.

Will it continue to increase in size, possibly explode, or can the absence of tears allow them to make their stand and regain control?

The way I see it, it's the constant flow of the water.

We cannot blame the incidental nose.
