Sometimes life shows us rare beauty, that is meant to be adored from a far, but never possessed, and strangely just seeing the beauty is enough.
My eyes caress your face, as I adore you from afar,
You are so beyond my touch, my beautiful, brilliant star.
My Darling, you are a perfect work of art, I view behind glass,
You epitomize rare beauty, culture and class,
Like a starved child, I crave you, with nose pressed against windowpane,
I may not taste your sweetness, I the lowly begger in the rain.
You are a priceless treasure, just meant to be viewed,
Placed upon a pedestal, where no mortal hands may touch you.
You are Velvet Passion, you make my body ache,
Just the thought of touching you, makes me tremble and quake.
My Adonis, owner of my heart,
I adore you, though we are worlds apart.
As I behold your honeyed lips, I crave to kiss,
Sadly, I must remain your ardent admirer, shrouded in mist.
