I was at a party, looking around the room,
Emerging from the shadows, a vision walked from the gloom.
I knew at a glance, he was the one I could adore,
Our gazed locked, and embarrassed, I looked at the floor.
Attraction passed between us, there was excitement in the air,
He approached, and we began to talk, we had a lot to share.
The party was over, but we didn't want to part,
So he followed me home, for he wouldn't return my heart!
I becamed aroused and emotions ruled my head,
Without a second thought, I let him take me to bed.
With the break of dawn, he told me about his life,
He was very married and he loved his wife.
My hurt countenance, brought him to tears, he didn't want to seem cruel,
I should have realized he was married, I felt like a fool!
He dressed, we hugged and he said good-bye,
As he walked out my door, I broke down and cried.
Oh Well, he was married, I'd forget him and my heart would mend,
Then he called, I rushed to his side and we made love again.
I had become the other woman, , a person I always hated,
But my hunger for him, kept me troubled and never sated.
Now I walked in the other woman's shoes,
I live the life, I thought I'd never choose.
I have chosen stolen moments, instead of a life,
For my soulmate is married and I must share him with his wife.
