You are not good for me, my brain knows it, but not my heart!

As dusk turns the sky to flame,
My thoughts turn to you and I whisper your name.
I hum your song to bring you near,
My heart aches and I wish you were here.
Reality holds no place for me,
For in your arms I want to be.
The sadness of the weeping willow, fits my mood,
I wish to wrap myself in solitude.
The darkening sky becomes the color of your eyes,
I feel my aloneness and I sigh!
I hug myself against the night chill,
Although it is against my will, I want you still.
I try to think of you with another woman in your bed,
But it never works, for I see me there instead.
In my stubborn heart, that is the way it should be,
How dare you live happily without me!
Are you content without me at your side?
You keep my emotions churning like a restless tide.
My mood swings keep me aloft like a runaway kite,
You are taboo, I haven't the right!
Why did fate send you my way?
I curse and bless that day.
I have a life that can't include you,
It is wrong to want you the way I do.
Impure thoughts make my body betray,
All my good intentions everyday!
I HATE YOU! I WANT YOU! GO! NO STAY!
Once again thoughts of you, causes my emotions ro stray!

Love, sometimes, are a complete disaster no matter how we see it or feel or wanted; it is like, sometimes, stepping on quicksand.
Then again, without it life will so empty...

When the love bug bites it is not so unlike a mosquito...it cares not whether you are rich or poor, black or even legally able to love the one you chose. It is often painful and takes long time to get over if ever.
