Lonliness can make strange bedfellows

Hey Sad Eyes, you look so lonely and blue,
I so need a hug and it looks like you need one too.
The world is cold and the nights are long,
When you are a nomad and don't belong.
Let's glean solace and warmth, in this moment in time,
You give me your warmth and I'll give you mine.
We are just two people, in a bad way,
Let's not speak of a union beyond today.
The quest for love has left us footsore and weary,
A mist of exhaustion makes our vision teary.
I see no other candle to light our way,
The shadows lie deep and we are encased in gray.
Hold me, let us cling like vines,
This was not planned, but it might be fate's design.
My body aches from want and hunger, I am too long alone,
Any port in Life's Storm, can become a temporary home.
As our lips mesh and our bodies feel warmth so sublime,
I shall be your welcoming haven and you will be mine.

So very true, sometimes all it takes is another human being smiling to make all the difference in the world. More is a bonus, sex is a gift, love is a treasure.

When our sails are shreded by the a storm and we feel the old bucket starting to founder, a port in the storm is what is needed.
Lonliness on life's ocean are filled with fears.

Been there many times, the feeling of not belonging, not fitting in. Why can't I see things your way, wny can't you see things through my eyes. Move around always searching, but not knowing what I am searching for.....Enjoyed the write.....

Be safe,
Karen
