You call to my heart and my spirit leaves my body and goes to you.

You sit by the campfire, chanting my name to the starry night sky,
I hear your agonizing call and it makes me cry.
" No! No! Don't call to me again" my heart laments my sad plight,
Then my spirit is drawn to you and I stand before you in the night.
Our eyes meet and softly speak,
My adoring eyes give you the answer that you seek.
We may not touch and our burning desire makes us glow,
We are two weary souls, just loving each other so.
You cannot touch me, or the spell that brought me to you will end,
Our thoughts embrace and our heartbeats mingle and blend.
This must be enough,
We are two lost souls that may not touch.
You scream my name,
Hearing your desperation breaks my heart and fills me with pain.
I whisper, " Please don't call me to you again, you know it's not fair",
" I love you so much and not being able to touch you, causes pain too great to bear".
You sadly whisper," I can't promise you that I won't call to you again",
" My heart pines for you and my love has no end".
Then you blew me a parting kiss,
As I sadly vanished into the night's mist.

Oh sweetie pie, you have nailed it on the head. We love and lose and remember too too well, often lost in love's true spell even when it's not to be. SC you have touched my soul again, and tears stream down my face. I have no words to express my heart's feeling at your truth.

Sad but beutifully heartbreaking tale of what cannot be...love does not chose who it picks on...this is another good example of that.
