What does a poet do when life kicks their ass, they write a damn poem bout it.

I hate the way you ooze sex appeal.
I hate your beautiful smiling face,
I want you to vanish without a trace.
I hate your voice that makes me melt,
I hate when your words are so heartfelt,
I hate you more with every passing day,
I hate it when you go away.
I hate it when the phone rings and it's you,
I hate it that I love you and don't know what to do.
I hate it that you broke my heart,
I hate myself for loving you from the start!
I hate that you won't let me leave,
I hate that life without you makes me grieve!
I hate that when I say I hate you, you know that it's a lie,
I hate that you keep calling to me and won't let me say good-bye!
We have become each other's drug of choice,
My addiction, keeps my final good-bye mute, it steals my voice.
I try to run away and hide,
But you always find me and dump me back into the emotional riptide.
I hate you! I hate you, why can't you understand,
It's just that my heart loves you, you troubling man!
