Why Did You Hurt Me?

I trusted you, gave you my heart and you just broke it apart.

You have broken my heart,
I was in agony as it fell apart.
I thought I would truly die,
There was nothing for me to do but cry.
Your cruelty took me by surprise,
It left me breathless and tears stung my eyes.
I was stunned and all I wanted to know was why?
Was your professed love for me all a lie?
I was your easy target because I did care,
I adored you and was always there.
I reached out to you, with blind trust,
Your dagger of deceit impaled my heart with a mighty thrust.
I am so sorry that I ever whispered your name,
My loving you now makes me burn with shame.
You threw my heart into the dust,
Along with my pride, love and trust.

Never be ashamed with having loved. The shame rests with the one who mishandled such love. Expressions from the heart, so touching.

SC,
Get it out babe, it will definitely make you feel better. Men, you can't live with them, and you can't live without them...But, try to remember, we hold the keys to all of their pleasures!

Peace, Love, and Light,

This describes heartbreak and the after affects so well SC and we can only hope that we can still find the love and the desire to brush off the hurt, band aid the ache and grab at the next chance we have for love.

There is no anger as a woman's scorn, is there. Always such a sad shame when these relationships occur, but life does march on and you will heal and come back strong.....

Be safe,
Karen
