When Will I Be Loved?

As I always lament to myself," Oh Shit, Oh Dear, What a Hell of a mess I've gotten into here!"

As the sands run through an hourglass, so go the days of my life,
They are mostly filled with sorrow, pain and strife!
I have always been the one to nurture and care,
But in my time of need, there is no one there!
Sometimes I lament to the sky above,
" When will it be my turn, when will I be loved?"
I foolishly opened up to you, like a rosebud opens to the sun,
I was truly beguiled, I thought that you were the one!
Then you confessed that you were wooin two,
I said to myself," Oh Shit, Oh Dear, now what should I do?"
My feelings for you were like a runaway train,
I couldn't call them back and it drove me insane.
Now I must always watch what I write, afraid I might cause hurt,
I wish to cause no pain, or treat someone's feelings like dirt!
You were so wounded and needin someone to care,
That is why you sought me out knowin that I would be there!
Wanting no emotional ties to hold you, I said when you healed I'd go away,
But that was before love came into play.
I thought I was immuned to love, so we could just be friends,
I never planned on lovin you, that wasn't figured in.
The other woman is footloose and fancy free,
She can be in your arms immediately!
She can feel your pull as I do,
We have something in common, you!
You always tell me things today, that tomorrow you forget,
That keeps me in a constant state of regret.
Soon you will welcome her with open arms and kisses so sweet,
Hopefully it will be a beautiful moment
for both of you as you finally meet.
I hope it all works out, I truly do,
For I have always wanted the best for you.
I sadly realize that we should stay apart,
For you can't answere the question," Where Is Your Heart?"
So I still find myself lookin above,
Askin out loud," When Will I Be Loved?"

Your time is now SC, just follow around the corner, there is true love for everyone, you will find it in the last place you look, your heart will be filled. You know you are loved by us but that can't and won't compare to the love that will steal your heart away.

S.C.,

There can never be enough Love in this world. I know we speak a different kind of love but I'm told, "what goes around, comes around." Love, Peace and Blessings to You Always, My Friend.
