The unloved, unwanted souls, are the walking wounded of an existence without loving care.

The desolate cadence of a lonely heart,
As it cracks, splinters and finally breaks apart.
Behind the grotesque mask of serenity, hides the pain,
The vacant eyes reflect solitude, while chaos fills the brain.
The Zombie-like body, twists in the wind,
It embraces and trys to deal with the agony within.
The waltz of the mindless, sleepwalks around the floor,
Couples shuffle to and fro, not caring for anything more.
The unwanted, loveless, are the walking dead,
They have heard it all, there is nothing left to be said.
They stubbornly refuse to walk into light,
To end their suffering and remedy their plight.
