Let me live, let me run as I see fit
Let me enjoy my feelings, my soul and my faith
 
Let me write as I understand it as a boy
Let me sing the tunes of my heart and my joy
 
Breathe with me the pure air what nature yields
Fly with me like an eagle or a bird in the fields
 
Run with me like a gazelle against the wind
Jump with me to grasp life as I feel it ring
 
Enjoy with me the nice weather and the rainy days
Let us forget those who bother us and their ways
 
Uplift yourselves towards the glow that gleams
Be bedazzled by the power of love and not of dreams
 
Enjoy the beauty of winter and converse
Admire the marvels of earth and universe
 
Let me listen to the music of my young age
Feeling the joy of my ancestors and their adage
 

Learn the sacred prayers and advance in actions
Follow the guides to avoid the false attractions
 
All that glitters is not always the best
If it flickers, beware of the wasp nest
 
Follow the élan which propels us with the rhyme
Don’t hold back; wait patiently for the end of time.
