About our feelings

Why We Cried

An everyday event,
the sound of the rain or the wind,
creates nostalgic feelings.

Nostalgia is a state of truth;
so is sadness.
They are perhaps a state of grace.

Those who are impervious to feelings
do not know the truth.

Sometimes, when we cry,
we do not quite know why.
We are actually crying for our childhood,
for beloved others or for our country.

Sooner or later we will understand why we cried.

I absolutely love that poem. We cry for many reasons. We have to allow ourselves to feel and cry.

That is beautiful as I cry at times just looking at my husband and realizing how much two people can care. I cry when I think of people with no one in their lives and yes at times I don't know why I cry. You write from the heart with beauty Emile. Thank you for sharing.

I always cry for the world in general, it is in sad shape, mother earth is crying with us, and one day we will all stand and stop crying and do something about this destruction of our world as we know it...
Very thought provoking poem, Emile, thank you for your compassionate words.
Much peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"

Compassion needed as one author on den wrote about today. We need to ask why are you crying? Do you know why? Need help with troubles or anything? So many questions as to why we cried. We cry out for help to end the war, no help comes, no peace not very soon.

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
