Our helpers reside within ourselves without us even knowing.

              The Hidden Forces

Do we know that we are surrounded by all kinds of forces?
They too are waiting for us to uncover them,
So that we may use them for our wellbeing.
There are also forces hidden inside us.
It is through love and work that we can reach them.
Such forces are not the privilege of anyone.
A carpenter, a shoemaker or a simple peasant
May very well be endowed with these forces,
Rather than any world famous figure.
More than one Alert Einstein or a Louis Pasteur
Are probably hidden somewhere among us!
People are often unaware of their potential.
They need an outside event, or an encounter,
Or any circumstantial effort, to release it.

I know that this has been true in my own life... never would have imagined that I would do some of the things that I have done in the past ten years. I didn't believe I had the strength or abilities to do them...fortunately, there is One, with a higher power who believed in me enough to open the door to these gifts.

I agree. They need most of all to know someone who believes in them enough to convince them to believe in themselves.

"The Hidden Forces" are kept hidden by complacency, why should I excel? and by the conformism that tell us that maybe, we aren't up to it.
Not all can be Hawking or Jesus, Pasteur or Kant, but look at what kind of unexplainable achievements a idiot-savant can attain using just a small part of his/her brain.
Yes, we all have Hidden Forces, we don't use them because our stomachs are full and, complacent, we decided that it was time to take a nap.

I agree with Karen's comments. It is an inspirational look at ourselves and the potential that is there.

Inspirational to say the least. We all have the potential, yet seldom use it to its fullest advantage. Very wise...

Be always safe,

You are so right, Emile. Jesus was a simple man, and yet He was the Son of God. His words were simply profound. He came to redeem us so that we might life the abundant life--overwhelming, overflowing, totally fulfilled life. It is not always the "perfect past" if there is such a thing, that evokes the sprit to rise up and soar--but the difficulties, the challenges, the hurts and pains of life--these things come to us all and have the power to open us up to our divine destiny.

A beautiful poem, Emile. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Your friend,
Linda

May the power of your higher power, guide you and fill you with eternal light. There are forces among us, but it's a light army of workers that do just what you said. You, my friend have an inside track to all of it. Be blessed and know you are not alone.
May you and your family find peace and light and love during this time of grief of your brother.
Much love to you,
Amber "V"
