Aging

Let’s leave everything in place
As we are aging with grace
Let’s look life straight in the face
As to keep a good image of our base 

It’s not through thought, or sweat
Once we are free, we get ahead
The past may knock us off balance
As seniors we can take the challenge.

Love, verses, music, and song
In the language where they belong
Are fulfilling our own call
To reach our depth in all

In life everything goes by
Problems, headaches, our cry -
As we are asleep and dream
Let’s not miss the time of life’s stream

Old age makes us full of beauty
As life trained us well through duty
To avoid falling into what is fake
We should not doubt, for our sake.

Healed of the past and its worries,
Of our pride, ignorance, and hurries,
As not to miss our life and chance
Let’s keep our heritage and innocence.
