During the elections, I wrote a poem titled
"Who Wants Change?"
We can say thank God
this election is behind us.
Now is the turn of the media
if they still exist and have any objectivity left,
to express themselves.
Now the world cannot say anything,
they all pray for us
that we may succeed to survive
and reimburse what we owe.
Now we can sleep quietly
and let them worry about our wellbeing
Wonderful and so true! Sometimes the media goes overboard an gives "panic attack" news that veers on sensationalism. It does tend to focus on the negative and the balance is gone. Americans can change the course of their country, regardless of what the media brings, it is a choice they need to make with their lives. Using the government as a crutch never helped anyone.
I don't think the rest of the world gives a second thought to the state of the USA except to say that the Big Bully is finally getting the _____ kicked out of itself for a change. The only noise I hear is "cheering." It is a sad commentary on a once great country which claimed that it was in "God we trust" and not fiat money or consumer confidence. "Don't Worry, Be Happy", I love that song. Life is a song to me, and it brings joy to my soul to release worries and to be happy.

Wasn't that cartoon character Newman of Mad Magazine that coined the phrase "Who, me? worried?" after the elevator cable snapped broken at the 57 floor level and was falling.
I need to see AFTER that elevator arrives at the ground floor, THEN we can talk again.
I think it is going to take all of us to get things back....where we can sleep and not worry....and much time. I Pray the sooner the better.
