The Salmon

Amazed the little salmon said:
"Where are we going, mom and dad?
Why are we swimming up the stream
It's hard going up, even as a team"

"My son, we were born up there,
Finding our way back we must dare
The mountain is waiting for us
Climbing high it will be teaching us"

The little fish was very scared:
"I'll never make it even if I dared"
"To succeed, have patience
Courage and perseverance

You must jump to reach the crest
Elevate yourself and do your best
Life is calling us, indeed
Swimming heartily, we will succeed

Let's return to our source
Fervently, like a racing horse
Love has the amazing  power
To prepare our return at this hour."

Le Saumon

Le petit saumon dit étonné:
"Maman, papa, où vous allez?
Pourquoi nager contre le courant,
C'est dur d'aller tout en montant!"

"Mon fils, c'est là que nous sommes nés,
Le chemin nous devons retrouver.
C'est la montagne qui nous attend
A grimper haut elle nous apprend."

Le petit poisson, tout effrayé:
"Jamais j' n'y pourrai arriver."
"Pour réussir sois bien patient,
courageux, persévérant.

Pour atteindre le sommet
Il faut sauter et s'élever
Car c'est la vie qui nous appelle
Nageons de tout cœur vers elle.
