The Future

It will certainly be different, we are told
Of course we have to do our best

Is our daily duty and also our role
When sadness penetrates our heart
Letting the sun enter would be smart
Not letting pain dominate our feeling
But allowing the rays to bring us healing
By warming our body and our being
And sheding light on what we are seeing
Filling every part of our soul with light
Making us strong with love and insight.
