Romans 12:17-21:
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. (this will actually help them by providing coal in their furnace, not literally on their head but it makes me happy to pray this way) ;)
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
there are two sides of every coin. Just because they are a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc. does not mean they can be trusted. You have to keep your eyes open. A person must prove he or she is worthy of your trust before it can be given. I can relate to this. I was sexually harassed in the military by a supervisor. I never reported him because of his status. Thanks for sharing this.

The double hand of the doctor-patient bond-of-mutual-trust issue... so tricky to manoeuvre at the best of times, but often fraught with difficulty when it most needs to be straightforwardly in place! My heart breaks for both when things sadly go wrong. This happens so often by accident rather than design, but for those professionals who delberately break the moral code, then they perform an abuse of the hightest order. Powerful and emotive.
