Another Florida trip inspiration!

"Cloudy Visions"

(Inspired Friday, 6/17/07 last day of my Florida trip)

Sky as blue as crystal turquoise,
Clouds as fluffy as cotton,
The Florida sky on a June afternoon...

I look upwards at the cloud formations,
I see an outline of Pluto,
and then the continent of Africa..

Just as quickly as they appeared,
they moved, to reveal another cloudy vision;
A white horse, a beautiful steed.

I visualized you riding as free as the wind,
amongst the clouds in the sky;
and, this image brought joy to my heart.

How I long to touch your face,
to kiss your tender lips,
to savor your intoxicating scent.

Amongst the cloudy landscape,
thoughts are carried through the ever changing
images of the fluffy white clouds.

Only to reveal
another tender memory
from the days that have gone by.

One heart, one soul, one love.
A pure and innocent love,
that no one can ever change.

I long for the touch of your hand on my cheek;
The warmth of your breath on my neck,
and the urgency of your sweet kiss on my lips.

The center of the clouds part,
and there you are,
Welcoming me with open arms!



Author's Notes: The sky was so beautiful today..I had images all afternoon, as I soaked up the Florida sunshine....Cherish your loved ones, cherish what you have with them, for sometimes your time is fleeting by like the fluffy white clouds in the sky!
