"Basking, Once More, In Your Light"

There once was a very sad man,
who reached out across his land.

He spoke in words of poetry,
always calling out to me.

The Goddess finally went to him,
in the middle of a whim.

And fell in love with his spirit
wanting only to hear it,

that poetry of his soul
that which was very bold.

They had a lovely dinner that night,
and touched each other's soul with light,

becoming lovers on that snowy eve,
a time almost not to believe.

It was a fleeting moment of time;
and one that did not make them blind.

For each had a separate place to be,
many, many miles from thee.

She vowed her love so true
and when she left he was blue.

Merry we meet
Merry we part,
You will always be in my heart.
