This was written almost two years ago, it is a timeless poem filled with positive energy!

"The Picture of My Soul"

You have the potential to make yourself healthy
You must first tell yourself
That you do deserve health and happiness

If you don't believe in your ability
To make yourself healthy and happy
Then there is no possibility
Of making anyone that comes into your life
Happy..........

True love, happiness, and fulfillment
comes from within
It radiates outwardly
with the visibility of a picture
that people see of you.

We all want people to see us,
but do we truly paint the picture
that is hanging inside of us?

I have lived my life with my picture
Hanging in full glory for all the world to view

I am a painting of my soul
I would not have it any other way!

It didn't just happen;
It took immense amount of pain, sorrow, joy
and much hard work,
To finally be able to hang the painting that is,
truly a depiction of who I am inside.

I strive to be the best human being
that I possibly can
I am not perfect and I still have my moments,
but, for all intents and purposes
I am happy with where I am right now

I wish it for you,
It is a peaceful and happy place to be!



Author's Notes: I have finally come to grips with all my issues, I know when I can reflect but not dwell, I know when I can love or just be a friend, I will strive to always being the best humanitarian that I can possibly be.
