Time To Wake Up

Time to wake up,
cannot keep this going,
wanting to move forward
while fear is stifling my steps.

Always having positive thoughts
helping others through their life
why can I not help myself?
do I not feel worthy of my own help?

Walk into the light
to really see my storm
turbulent valleys
longing for pleasure peaks of happiness.

Wandering in the abyss of loneliness
takes a toll on the soul,
time to break loose
to find that glimmer of sunshine and hope.

Ascending the darkness
that shrouds my mind.
Awaiting the bridge that leads
to the other side.

Desperately clinging to life,
urging those steps that lead to
happiness and tranquility
to show me the way home.

Allowing the tender night
to embrace this lonely existence,
will lead to days of splendor
and fulfillment of desire and love.

Like the dolphin and the mermaid,
a perfect union of mind and soul
can be achieved with patience
and connectivity to the Universe's energy!
