Glistening

Tonight was magical,
the pavement was glistening,
from the newly fallen snow,
a film of frigid cool.

The air needed this snow,
it is cleansed and rejuvenated,
finding Mother Nature's
freezing cure.

The crispness of the air,
mingled with the frozen rain,
ignited my attention.
It was still winter after all.

To see this snowfall,
was foreign for this winter,
it has been a very mild season
hardly any persipitation.

Tonight was magical,
the pavement was glistening

a film of frigid cool reminding me that I am alive!
