Gratitude is peace and tranquility! This poem was inspired by an episode of the Oprah Show.

 Gratitude Is My Attitude
by Amber "V" Moonstone

10/13/12

I am grateful to be alive,
grateful for my health,
grateful for healthy children,
grateful for beautiful grandchildren.
grateful for amazing friends.

Everyday, write down five grateful thoughts,
each day will bring gratitude,
You will begin to live your life
in a grateful state of mind.

You will find yourself doing things,
that will make you feel grateful
by the end of your day,
and you will have five things to write down.

I have joy within my soul,
spreading my joyful energy
brings joy to others,
this I am grateful for.

I have love within my heart,
spreading love,
germinates love,
this I am grateful for.

I have peace within my being,
spreading peace,
brings peace to the world,
this I am grateful for.

I have a voice that has something to say,
putting those words out to the Universe,
brings harmony and tranquility to all that can hear,
this I am grateful for.

I am grateful for:

joy,
love,
peace,
harmony,
and tranquility!

You're singing my song, Amber. At my age I am more grateful than I though I could ever be that, with the help of miraculous drugs I live a life, free from pain and strife that those before me could never have lived. Grateful? You betcha.
