We lost Daddy, May 13, 2004. I miss him terribly. This is just a small tribute to such a great man.

I have such special memories
That I hold deep in my heart
And I’m clinging to them desperately
Even though we had to part.

Wonderous stories spun for me
Of a time so long ago,
I’d sit entranced for hours on end
As your young life would unfold.

The walks we took to school each day
When I was very young
My small hand almost lost inside
Your strong, yet gentle one.

The books that we both loved to read
And talk about all day,
I clutch these memories to my heart
They’ll never fade away.

But the one most special memory
That I am thinking of;
Which I treasure, Daddy, above the rest
Is your unconditional love.
