Friend, continue to walk with me,
We’ve been on this trail a long time;
Together we’ve walked over mountains,
Through dark valleys with your hand in mine.

The final trail that we’ll encounter,
Is the path that leads to eternity;
And I would be so very honored,
If you’d walk along the trail with me.

Stay by my side and we'll try to find,
The trail that leads to eternal bliss;
The place where true paradise awaits,
All of us who will accept His gift.

Together we shall overcome,
Any and all diversities;
Jesus has cleared the trail for us,
Our goal being that God is pleased.

It matters not how good we are,
As we travel along our trail;
Without trust and faith in Jesus,
On our quest we will surely fail.

For not one of us is righteous,
Not one of us is without sin;
I must say this for our own good,
Without Jesus we'll never win.

God accepts the good and the bad,
If we ask for His forgiveness;
While trusting in Jesus our Lord,
Remember, always bear witness.

To everyone that we meet,
As we walk along our own trail;
Tell them the endless ways we know,
In trusting our Lord we can't fail.
