If "we the people" are corageous enough to get back to our roots, a Christian we will remain. A nation based on the Jewish/Christian values. On the other hand we as a nation have been moving towards a Secular nation. Would it not be better if we could rule by laws, yet embrace all religions?? I would like to believe that when all is said and done, a Christian nation we will remain....

In Ankara, Turkey yesterday (Apr. 6), Pres. Obama's speach stated "One of the great strengths of the United States," the President said, "is ... we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."
Is that not a democracy?
My ideals and values are established by being a Christian, yet I cannot deny the similar characteristics in my Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Native American Spiritualist friends and acquaintances, who are all a part of this Nation. As Christians given the strong love from Jesus Christ, we must learn to share that love to all mankind.
I appreciate your passion for Christianity, for it soothes my (and other's) souls.
