There must be something going on,
I think God's watching over me;
Whenever darkness closes in,
A light in the distance I see.

When it seems I can’t take no more,
Or I’m at the end of my rope;
Suddenly, a blessing's bestowed,
Giving me new reason to hope.

I think I know what it may be,
What lifts my soul up at bad times;
A gift of love God sends to me,
An aura that makes me feel fine.

One day when I was about flat broke,
Searching my pockets for a spare dime;
Was digging deep for some extra change,
When an Angel in my pocket I find.

Now she lights up my every day,
She’s with me everywhere I go;
Without this Angel in my pocket,
Could I go on? I simply don't know.

She brings me comfort when I'm sad,
And makes me laugh when I am blue;
Look in your pocket, you may find,
God's put one in there for you too.
