So Be It

All we can do is try.

It’s over, I gave it my best,
It’s time to put it behind me;
Yet, the hurt will ever remain,
My heart just won’t let me be free.

Anger wants to burst from my soul,
But I will keep that beast in check;
Words serve much better than action,
And life goes on, so what the heck.

We all must do what is in us,
Each of us by our own accord;
Some trails we travel are rocky,
That’s why I walk mine with my Lord.

I’ll not look back ever again,
There is no future in the past;
Except from the lessons we learn,
From the very stones that we cast.

FROM YOUR PHRASES, I CAN TELL THAT WHAT COMES OUT OF OUR MOUTHS HARDLY 'HEALS' THE PAIN OF THE LOST...BUT...IT IS A EXCELLENT 'BEGINNING'.
