The young man was sad, down and out,
He didn't know which way to turn;
It seems no matter what he did,
Anguish inside his heart would burn.

One day God looked down at the man,
Saw his heart was breaking in two;
He gave him a glimpse of Heaven,
Then instructed him what to do.

Their meeting seemed to be by chance,
But that was all part of God's plan;
An angel He sent as a guide,
To help this disheartened young man.

The man knew not to question Him,
God always gave to him, His best;
And he thanks God every day,
For helping place his heart at rest.

Some told him it was just a fling,
Friends even called it an affair;
It doesn't matter what was said,
God gave the love that these two share.

What some called it doesn't matter,
It's only between just those three;
Let them say whatever they'd like,
The love they now know was meant to be.

God took two hearts, melled them as one, 
Changed them both for eternity;
Placing faith and trust in the Lord,
Taught them both how true love should be.

Together, forever as one,
A gift from God, straight from His heart;
A miracle He gave them both,
The Heavenly gift of a fresh start.
