Sometimes our trails get really rough,
Nothing in life is guaranteed;
But friends, I'm happy to tell you,
God is there in our times of need.

Never once will He let us down,
Though we think His answers come late;
One mistake that we might all make,
Is thinking life's a matter of fate.

Life is simply what we make it,
And we'll make errors as we live;
Not one can claim to be sinless,
But God is Love and He forgives.

Sometimes the lessons may seem tough,
And it's okay to question why;
Why we must go through what we do,
God's there to dry the tears we cry.

That is what life is all about,
Just a simple matter of love;
The greatest gift God ever gave,
Graciously given from above.

So, my friends, I'm glad to tell you,
Walk your trails one step at a time;
God will be there when we need Him,
Then, at the end, all will be fine.
