Santa Bring My Angel To Me

Inspired by
"Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me"
by Elvis Presley.

Must have been that hole in my pocket,
That caused a gift of love to fall through;
My God given Angel is missing,
Now, I simply don't know what to do.

She'd been by my side for so long,
Then just like that, dropped out of sight;
Not a word, not a line - nothing,
Hard getting through each lonely night.

I'll borrow a line from a song,
To Santa Claus I'll make my plea;
And pray to God up in Heaven,
That Santa brings my Angel back to me.

"The Christmas tree is all ready,
The candles are now all aglow;
But with my Angel far away,
Just what good is a mistletoe?

"Don't you fill my sock with candy,
Don't leave me a bright, shiny toy;
If you wanna make me happy,
And fill my broken heart with joy."

Then Santa, please, hear my plea,
Santa bring my Angel back to me.

Powerfully penned, Paul: love how you pray to THE Gift Giver - the Giver of Life - for Santa to bring back your angel. Well done.

Your angel is right there with you. Christmas is a positive time of compassion and love plus universal harmony. Your angel has moved to your shoulder. She finds steering a little easier from there.
Blessings and love,
Susan
