Another post that somehow disappeared, and so, I repost this for your review.
Thank you and may God bless.

The devil may pay you a visit,
When you're feeling a little bit blue;
He's cunning and will hold nothing back,
It's your faith he wants to steal from you.

My friends, I tell you only the truth,
Because he has just done that to me;
I felt I was abandoned by God,
That was enough to set evil free.

When he grabs a hold of your despair,
You need to be strong in all you do;
Pray to our Lord in Heaven above,
Fierce inner strength He will grant to you.

With prayer you can ward off the devil,
Jesus can ease your most dreaded fear;
All you need to do is simply ask,
Then all at once you will feel Him near.

The devil will do his very best,
But evil in you cannot abide;
When you call on the name of our Lord,
And keep Him ever right by your side.

Evil MUST not abide, and we should do all we can to prevent that from happening! All we can do is pray and trust in the Lord, fully and completely! Well done, Paul!

I used to walk those dark streets with the devil as company. Just as you wrote I prayed to JESUS and now I am born again. I think your poem is a great piece of writing.

GOD BLESS
Tony
