Deceit is the way of the devil,
Don't have any part of satan's work;
Put all of your trust in Jesus Christ,
Standing with Him, no evil can lurk.
Please, beware of false witnesses,
They can be found everywhere;
Their treachery is convincing,
As they profess to truly care.
Don't be deceived by their empty words,
Walk as God's children to the Light;
The fruit of the Spirit is great,
Keep Heaven's reward within your sight. Have faith in the only one, true God,
He is the One who won't let us down;
All that He asks, is that we believe,
Endure temptation, receive His crown.
