This came through God, obviously.
But it was inspired through the words of one of His poets, Soulful Shee.
As I've said a thousand times......
God does His work in mysterious ways.
Thank You, Lord. I am at Your service.
God is much like great poetry,
He'll always stand the tests of time;
Matters not what language He speaks,
He doesn't need to make the words rhyme.
No matter how we look at them,
His words are a pleasure to read;
He always has something to say,
He has all the answers we need.
I'm not talking about the prophets,
I'm speaking about God's own Word; His words appear in the Bible,
The sweetest ones I've ever heard.
As I read them He talks to me,
I can hear the sound of His voice;
Speaking to me off the pages,
Telling me He, is the right choice.
Yes, my Lord, I hear all Your words,
Your messages come in quite clear;
My Lord, I can't wait for the day,
The day that ends all sorrow and fear.
Until that day Lord, keep talking,
Poets will write all that You say;
Caring for those who have a need,
While helping others learn how to pray.
