Lord, it's a beautiful morning,
I'm glad You woke me up today;
Although I'd rather be with You,
You have showed me why I must stay.

For there are many things to do,
So, I'll take one day at a time;
Trying to be the best I can,
Using Your Word to make things fine.

I know that You give me purpose,
As I try to follow Your lead;
No matter how bad things may seem,
You provide my every need.

Give me strength to open my mind,
To mankind's possibilities;
Help me to appreciate life,
Using Your words to bring us peace.

Dear Lord, thank You for Your blessings,
For Your sincere and loving ways;
Walk with me on my trails through life,
Stay with me through all of my days.

You have kept no secrets from me,
Showed me all I needed to know;
Blessed me with just enough knowledge,
To know that there's still time to grow.

And so, I do my work for You,
Trying to help a few souls heal;
Despite all of the devil's deeds,
Knowing eternity is real.
