The "he" in this write is me. Took me 5 years to raise my courage to the point where I can finally ignore the threats they made against me. They being the "justice" system, if I went public with this story. So be it, public I go regardless of the outcome. Enough is enough. This is just my starting point. Was bike week in Laconia,
As usual, tensions were high;
One never knew what might happen,
But all knew that someone would fry.
While doing his job and nothing more,
Arrested, though he did nothing wrong;
Thrown into prison and forced to plea,
The incident helped to make him strong.
And yes, it helped to enlighten him,
To see social injustice at work;
Witness firsthand, our system go wrong,
To watch the D.A. act like a jerk.
On his record, a felony,
He carries where ever he goes;
Five years later it still haunts him,
The horror of it all still shows.
The irony was, it was he,
Who called the police to the beach;
He could have turned and walked away,
But no, and now it’s his blood they leech.
It took courage to do what was right, yet those in power miscontstrued your actions.What an injustice! I've seen it happen to others also! Moving forward is hard to do , but with the Lord on your side , nothing in impossible.. Some times the Gov. of the state can expunge records.Have you looked into that?....M
Any sort of unjust slight or accusation slurs and stains our sense of self, Paul, and I can only imagine the pain this injustice has caused you as insult has been added to injury throughout the whole procedure. However, Pheonix-like, you have dusted yourself off and have gloriously arisen with strength in your newly unfurled wings to take action on behalf of all others who have been similarly ill-treated and who have not yet found a voice. God will always be on the side of right and will provide a means by which truth may be seen, heard and recognised for what it is. I feel for you in this. May His power be the unsheathed sword in your hand and His wisdom the shade above your head and your rock in your times of great need. Go with grace and with dignity. xx
I'm so deeply sorry this happened to you Paul. I despise injustice and it seems you've taken the brunt of it. It's obvious it didn't break your spirit but strengthened it and your trust in God. After you read someone for a long time you get a sense of who they are and you, My Friend, are a good man.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT PAUL, INJUSTICE SUCH AS THIS MAKES ONE STRONGER. WE WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY GOD ALLOWS THESE THINGS TO HAPPEN BUT WE KNOW THAT HIS WORD SAYS, 'ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD FOR THEM THAT LOVE GOD AND ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE'. Inhumane treatment of those (of us) who do what is right and still feel the blow of the 'system' can either rest in what has transpired or move forward with a conviction that comes from God. You may not be vindicated here, but in heaven you will attain an incredible reward. My hope and prayer is that you will find relief through your journey toward justice.

Good for you for speaking out, Paul; I pray no repercussions come your way for doing so, adding injustice upon injustice. Hopefully, those unlawful "law enforcers" are no longer around. You've paid for their mistakes, but don't allow those people to make you keep on paying. Profound writing, my friend!
