Forever Friends

We have been friends for so long,
We've walked together through the years;
Shared all of our happy moments,
As we have jointly shared our fears.

You always seem to make me laugh,
Even when I'm feeling quite low;
Always there for me to turn to,
When I have nowhere else to go.

Though at times we may disagree,
With some of the things we say or do;
You're always there when you're needed,
And I'll always be here for you.

Our friendship will last forever,
And when our days on earth are through;
Our bond will still not be broken,
For we'll be friends in Heaven too.
