Woke up today in a lot of pain from the hip replacement surgery and felt I have neglected my writing here in The Den. God is a miracle worker and He has given me more in life than I ever could have imagined. I pray everyone has a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. Be blessed my friends.
All that I have become today,
All that I ever hope to be;
They're all in Your control, Dear Lord,
You are my hope, my destiny.
Long as I keep You in my heart,
You're the One who leads me through life;
Should I forget what You have done,
This world would be filled with much strife.
I long to stay right by Your side,
To make it very clear to You;
You brought me hope through sacrifice,
I think of that love in all I do.

This is really beautiful, Paul. It's giving thanks and praise instead of asking for something---which I'm afraid some of us do too often. I haven't been on the den for awhile and didn't know about your hip replacement surgery. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
