We never know when the words will come
But we know they're sent from Heaven above
Sent to help our brothers and sisters
They are God's words and filled with His love

They come to us all throughout the day
And mostly when they're least expected
We find it so hard to understand
Why we're the ones that God selected

"God, no matter what others may think
We, Your servants, know what we must do
We write down Your words and pass them on
We shall always be faithful to You"

We thank God there are many of us
For we know we can't do this alone
And we welcome all the company
On this trail that could lead us all home
