How empty is life without you Knowing you�re here only in the moment Fearful of chasing you away Desperate to not offend or bore An awkward persona at best Losing you will eclipse light A shell vacant of hope Life extinguished Love discarded Fate�s nightmare realized Once again numb and alone Retreating into a hardened shell Yet better off for the encounter

Life is simply too short for regrets and loving encounters only enrich one. It's tough to experience rejection but it's so good to read a message of hope at the end.
