No, this is not about Louisa, but it is for her and she knows why. Thanks for being an inspiration, you angel you :)

God bless you xxx

also inspired by a line from an ee cummings poem

used to the way

i wear my hair

i cross my legs

crunching sound

of ice and swallowed souls

i have known autumn too long-

like a song

it reruns in my head

though i try on new flights

on petals and dreams

of beaches and wintry retreats

his autumn calls me as a lover would

no forgotten snows in frosted beards

ah, he knows me too well

an ally with much of me

we joined

in the midnight silence

of the trees

yes, autumn too long

but not nearly enough

of you

I believe you have written my new most favorite poem of yours. This is so lovingly introspective and yes as Marilyn suggested you can definately feel the secret that seems to want to burst from the poet's lips...but for reasons unknown can never see the light of day. I love the images and the format of this one Michelle.

Seasonally reassuring, but yet yearning for a month yet to name, Michelle...different landscapes call us at different times in our lives, usually calling for change in weather, clothing and hairstyles, and lovers...we practice on wearing them all well and when they don't fit, it is time for change...Louisa will love this for whatever reasons and seasons...be well, Michelle...Blessed Be.

Love,
Sage
