well, it's been a while thought i'd gotten back my smile thought i'd walked that last mile thought i'd gotten back my style
now that Time's gone by thought i'd give Love another try thought i'd left behind your "Good-Bye" thought i wouldn't cry just goes to show how much i don't know your memory won't go i still feel a cold wind blow somehow i guess it's fair that your memory's still there that i still care i just sit & stare No, now i can see your memory won't let me Be Yes, now i know i still love you so well, it's been a while thought i'd gotten back my smile thought i'd walk that last mile thought i'd gottn back my style just goes to show how much i don't know

ahh steve, some things just won't let go, i love the last line of this poem, something i'm shown every day it seems...how much i don't know that is
