Women ask for many things,
From designer jeans to diamond rings.
We ask for love,
Tender as a velvet glove.
We ask for success and money,
In hopes our days will always be sunny.
We ask for fame,
To leave a legacy of our name.
We ask for happiness,
In anticipation of joyful bliss.
We ask for signs,
Directing us towards future good times.
We ask for a miracle,
To keep from becoming cynical.
A lot of what we ask for we can easily find,
Once we live in peace of mind,
The most precious gift of any kind!
I enjoyed your poem!
