On this Good Friday I have a new perspective on verse 26:20,
Written by the Prophet Isaiah from the 8th Century,
“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast”,
We have been told to stay in our homes, the only way to fight this enemy fast,
I can’t help but think this virus is God’s wrath,
Perhaps we have lost our way and he has come to guide us back onto his path,
Reminding us of his great sacrifice,
Opening our eyes to what we take for granted, yet allowing faith alone to suffice,
For what other meaning could it have during holy week,
When the virus will reach its peak…
Yes, I think perhaps this is God's last effort to give us as much time as we need to open the door to His heart. We are now totally without excuse! Well done, my friend. Amen!
